All five boats are fitted with modern water-cooled diesel engines.
The interiors are designed to be spacious with a large saloon and ample bathroom and galley areas.
All boats are equipped with pump out toilets, full size gas cookers, electric fridges and heating also providing hot water.
All have showers and wash basins in the bathroom.
We supply duvets, covers, pillows & pillowcases.
All boats have a full inventory of cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils and tea towels.
All boats have TV, CD and tape players.
Buoyancy aids can be provided on request.

We are accredited by the British Marine Federation Hire Boat Handover Scheme. We are located next to a lock, within the flight of five at Llangynidr. We can assist you through one, two or three locks as well as giving tuition in boat handling including driving your boat through a lock. We aim to ensure that you have the basic skills needed to navigate this canal safely.

Country Maid II. A 50 foot cruiser style narrowboat built to combine the design advantages of Country Girl's permanent double bed with sprung mattress and the large L shaped lounge of Country Dancer/Lass, which can be used as two single beds or a second double.
Country Maid II is ideal for two couples or a couple with two older children. This large boat can provide accommodation for two people with ample space and comfort.
Radiator central heating by diesel boiler also supplying ample hot water. 240 volt and 12 volt electricity supply.
Four burner cooker, oven and grill and electric fridge. Pump out toilet, shower & basin, extra space in shower, colour tv with DVD, CD & Cassette player, travel hair dryer & travel iron, spacious galley area.
The 240 volt inverter gives 1000 watts of mains electricity for medium powered appliances ie. tv, travel hair dryer, mobile phone and video chargers. The diesel fired boiler gives ample hot water (also heated by the engine) and radiator central heating.

Country Dancer is a 6 berth narrowboat with large saloon that converts into double bed and four bunks at the rear of the boat. The two top bunks can be removed leaving two single beds.

Country Lass is a 6 berth narrowboat with large saloon that converts into double bed and four bunks at the rear of the boat. The two top bunks can be removed leaving two single beds.

Country Girl is a four berth narrowboat with a permanent double bed at the rear and a saloon that can be used as two singles or converted into a double bed. Ideal for two couples.

Country Fair is a 37 foot cruiser style narrowboat designed for a couple and priced accordingly. The permanent fixed double with sprung mattress at the back of the boat extends under the access step. The dining area is off-set so the table can remain in place. It can also be converted into a second bed.
Country Fair is fitted with radiator central heating by diesel boiler also providing hot water. She has a 240 volt and 12 volt electricity supply, four burner cooker with oven and grill, full size fridge, pump out toilet, shower and wash basin.
N.B. The extra space and easier access in our larger boats may be appreciated by people with mobility problems.
